Easy Breakfasts for Mothers on the Go
After all the things you have to do to get your toddler ready to go out, you forgot one thing - your breakfast. Making breakfast seems like a huge task after having to bathe your little guy, dress him, and pack his bag, let along getting all these things for yourself done. Who has time to cook? Making things the night before, or simply shopping smart can help you out, so when it's time to leave, you can just grab it and go, with no hassle.
Yogurts & Apple Sauces
Delicious, healthy - and filling. I get the yogurts with the fruit at the bottom, but if you really want something delicious, buy either plain or vanilla yogurt, and add your own berries, fruit or granola. Cheap, yet quick to throw together in the morning. Best of all, your toddler can enjoy this breakfast with you, also!
Homemade Muffins or Granolas
Find some easy recipes for homemade muffins or granola bars online, make them the night before and let them cool. After cooling, separate each portion into Ziploc bags, there's breakfast for at least 3 days. If you have an ample amount, freeze some for next week. Pop them in the microwave before work, and you'll have a warm and delicious breakfast.
Eggs & Bagels
Eggs are easy to whip up. If you do this the night before, you will have an easier way out of cooking it in the morning. Scramble some eggs, and toast a bagel or English muffin and you can have a great breakfast sandwich. Add bacon, sausage or even pork roll to spruce it up!
Hummus
Hummus is delicious, and eating it with some wheat thins, or even vegetables can make it healthy for you. Hummus is easy to make, find a recipe for the type you like and take as breakfast. It will fill you up, and hummus is very healthy for you if made with the right ingredients!
Wheat Toast & Eggs, and Tomatoes
Toast some wheat bread, and add tomatoes with some oil or mayonnaise for a quick breakfast type sandwich. Take your eggs you're made from the night before, and add them to this sandwich for a healthy treat. To save time in the morning, of course cook your eggs the night before, and slice your tomatoes for they are easy for grabbing in the morning.
Fruit Salad
Go to your local food market, and buy all of your favorite fruits. Make your own fruit salad just by adding a touch of orange or pineapple juice, and you have yourself breakfast for the next 2-3 days. Store in mini containers so they are right there at your fingertips, especially good for when you're running late!
Making food the night before, or having items handy in your refrigerator make taking the most important meal of the day, breakfast, easy for you to eat. Waking up in the morning is tough enough, so being prepared will make eating breakfast an easy priority for you in the morning.
