Quick And Easy Peppery Spinach Quesadillas

This is one of the most delicious and easy healthy dinner recipes that you will find. Not only is it extra yummy, but you don't have to stand at the stove all day muttering under your breath. You're done in about 15 minutes!

Here's what you'll need to create this quick and easy meal

1 medium package whole wheat soft tortillas
1 package of fresh baby spinach
1 8oz package low-fat mozzarella
1 can organic black beans
1 Tbsp black pepper
1 jar veggie salsa of your choice

First, you will heat the beans on medium low heat until they are hot. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, and spray a cookie sheet or pizza pan with non-stick spray.

This really is one of the greatest healthy dinner recipes. There is practically no cooking involved! Plus your kids will actually eat the spinach when prepared this way! Chop your baby spinach finely.

Get 8 tortillas ready and spoon about 2-3 tbsp of the heated beans on one side of each tortilla. Sprinkle a dash of pepper on the beans, and add a tablespoon or two of the mozzarella cheese.

Place these in the oven, open, for about 8 minutes, or until the cheese is nice and melted. Take them out of the oven and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of spinach to each tortilla.

Fold the tortillas while the cheese is still hot, and cut each one into 4 quarters. You can dip these in the salsa, and they are yummy!

If you love a little spice in your food, sprinkle a dash of cayenne pepper on each quesadilla before you put it in the oven. There are so many healthy dinner recipes you can find, if you just use your imagination and creativity. Enjoy!

Searching Los Angeles Real Estate Listings on Your Own

Every day, a large number of individuals make the decision to buy a new home. If you are one of those individuals, do you already have a home in mind? If you do, how did you find that home? A large number of individuals use a real estate agent when searching for a new home, but others are able to search on their own. Despite finding your own home, you still may want to seek assistance from a real estate agent.

When it comes to real estate agents, there is a misconception that many individuals mistakenly believe in. This misconception involves a real estate agent?s ability to offer assistance to new home buyers. There are many individuals who mistakenly believe that real estate agents only assist homeowners that are selling their homes. If you are interested in buying a new home, you are encouraged not to believe this popular misconception. Doing so can prevent you from acquiring the assistance that you may need.

As previously mentioned, many individuals are able to find their own home. This is most often done from a real estate listing. Los Angeles has a large number of homes that are listed on the real estate market. Potential buyers can view real estate listings by reviewing their local newspaper, local real estate guides, or by using the internet. Unfortunately, many individuals believe that since they found their dream home on their own, they can purchase it on their.

Purchasing a home can sometimes be a long, difficult, and frustrating task. That is why a large number of individuals seek assistance from a real estate agent, even if they have already found a home through a local real estate listing. Los Angeles has a large number of real estate agents; therefore, you may be wondering which real estate agent you should select.

If you already found the home that you are interested in purchasing, you may want to consider obtaining the services of the real estate agent whom the home is listed with. Doing so would likely speed up the process of purchasing the home. This is because when two different real estate agents are involved, one for buying and one for selling, communication is often difficult or delayed.

To determine which agent the home is listed with, you are encouraged to review the real estate listing. Los Angeles homes are almost always listed with local real estate agents. If you are from out-of-town, working with a local agent may be beneficial, in more ways than one. If you are unfamiliar with the Los Angeles area or the agent feels the home is not the perfect match for your needs, they may offer you valuable information and assistance. This assistance is often difficult to find elsewhere.

Brad Horn is a writer for 1 percent realtor where you can find a great resource for information regarding Los Angeles Real Estate Listings

A Bad Real Estate Market Can Allow You to Quit the Rat Race in 1 Year!

JP Morgan, an original Robber Baron and one of the richest men of his time said it best. ?The time to buy is when there is blood running through the streets!? While the blood is not running through the streets yet, it is trickling!

  • Housing appreciation is flat or even negative in some formerly hot areas
  • Time on market, the amount of time it takes for a property to sell is increasing dramatically across the country.
  • Inventories of unsold homes are up 30-50% nationally
  • Developers and builders are offering deals unheard of 1 year ago
On the horizon is an avalanche of home mortgages about to ?reset? payment levels, up from ?teaser? rates of 1-3% to market rates of 6-7%. When you realize that the only way many of these people were able to buy their homes was because they could afford only the 1-3% payment rates, you can imagine what will happen when those loans reset.

Also, historically, more mortgages go into foreclosure at 3-5 years after origination than in any other period of their terms. More than ? of all mortgages in the US were taken out in the last 3-5 years. Another negative factor is that, according to one study, almost 50% of all homeowners have less than 25% equity in their homes.

This has come about because of the large numbers of home buyers that put zero down when they purchased and the fact that homeowners pulled out $333 Billion in cash with refinances in the last 3 years. If someone, particularly an investor, (nearly 25% of all purchases were investors over the last 3 years!) can no longer afford their mortgage payments and they have little or no equity, they will not have much incentive to try to hold on, meaning foreclosures will soon spike. Many, many people will be trapped in their homes by the foregoing circumstances. They will not be able to sell:

  • Real estate agents will not list their properties if they have little or no equity as they see no means of collecting their fee
  • They will not be able to reduce their selling prices without having to bring cash to the closing to pay closing costs, cash they probably don?t have.
  • The market will be cluttered with similar properties for sale
  • Investors will not be interested in their properties because there is no equity
People who have to sell their homes for financial, personal or emotional reasons will be especially hard pressed to find a solution. If these people are not able to afford their homes and are not able to sell them, they will face financially disastrous foreclosures or personal bankruptcies. You will be able to solve their problems and they will Give you their properties in return! In fact, some will even pay you to take their properties! Why on earth would you want properties with no equity in them? Because they can become Automatic Cash Machines, spewing cash into your bank account so you will not have to work anymore! Here is how:

First, you sell the property! You line up Motivated Buyers as your potential clients.

Then, you find a Motivated Seller and acquire his property Next, you put the Motivated Buyer into the property as the new owner with a private, seller financed mortgage.

Lastly, you collect Automatic Income for the next 5-10-20 years or more while your buyer handles all the maintenance and other duties any home owner is faced with OK, what is a Motivated Buyer and how do you find them? A Motivated Buyer is someone who can not or will not pass the bank?s scrutiny to qualify for a mortgage. These may be owners of small businesses, especially if they are cash based. They could be self employed professionals or even foreigners. They could also be people with really stinky credit! These people will jump at the chance to buy a property with private, non-bank financing and will pay you a premium for the opportunity. To find them, you simply run an ad highlighting private, seller financing. Something like:

Owe too Much to Sell Your Home?

Investor can help! XXX-XXXX

You won?t need money to acquire these homes in most cases! Have a lawyer or a person experienced with land trusts, set one up for you. This is the secret that makes this strategy work. The land trust will allow you to take over the property and sell it without paying off the seller?s mortgage!

You tack on a profit for yourself and this total becomes the Motivated Buyer?s new mortgage, less the 5-10% cash down payment you require upfront on the new purchase price. Your buyer moves in and makes payments to you until he pays your mortgage off. You take his payment and pay the seller?s original mortgage. You pocket the difference. Let?s look at the potential.

You pick up and sell 1 property per month after a 2 month learning curve. The properties average $250,000 each in market value. They produce $300 per month in positive cash flowYou receive $10,000 cash down payment from each one With 10 of these, you have:

An income of $3,000 per month, or $36,000 per year. You received $100,000 in cash down payments$2,500,000 in assets, with equity accruing monthly as the mortgages are paid off Could you Quit the Rat Race with $130,000 per year? No? Repeat the above!

Quick and Easy Low Calorie Vegetarian Recipes

The shops these days are full of all sorts of goodies suitable for the vegetarian. So longer do you have to satisfy yourself with an omelette or salad. And because there is such choice you can choose low calorie options.

Also there are now a number of meat substitutes if you wan to go that way. Vegetarian bacon yes really look in the frozen food cabinet adds that something to lots of dishes and I frequently use it, even when cooking for omnivores.

Rice Salad

This has quite a long list of ingredients, but is still quick and easy.
I havent given amounts as you can alter them to suit what you have available and how many diners there are.

Cold cooked rice a large cupful per person
Pineapple chunks

Vegetarian bacon, 3 rashers per person
A deseeded, finely sliced chilli
Some coriander or basil
A few salted cashews or dry roasted peanuts ( too many puts the calorie count up of course.)
Juice of lime or lemon
Crisply fried onion

Cooked vegetables such as sweet corn, peas, asparagus pieces and snowpeas.
Mix together the rice, chilli and pineapple. Fry the vegetarian bacon rashers in a non stick pan. They take only seconds so keep an eye on them. Either fry your onions, sliced thinly or reheat previously fried ones. Add the cooked vegetables and the nuts to the rice mixture. Add a squeeze of lemon or lime juice. Crumble the bacon rashers and mix in. Arrange on a plate. Decorate with the chopped herbs and the crispy onion pieces. Non vegetarians might want some prawns or cooked flaked fish in place of the bacon pieces.

No Oil Lemon and Parsley Salad Dressing

There isnt much point in having a salad if you cover it in high fat dressing, but it does taste good. Well so does this and there is absolutely no guilt attached.

? cup water
2 Tablespoons o arrowroot powder
Juice of one lemon
? cup finely chopped parsley ( You may want to substitute cilantro or add a little tarragon)
pinch of salt

Either a deseeded chopped chilli (You could use dried flakes) or two teaspoons of finely chopped sweet/bell pepper.
Mix the water and arrowroot well and then cook until thickened. Allow to cool and then place all ingredients in a screw top jar. Replace lid tightly. Shake well. Will keep for a few days in the fridge.

Stuffed Squash

Butternut or acorn squash is what I generally have available, but the recipe can be used to stuff other vegetables such as bell peppers and eggplants ( aubergines).
Serves 8 as stuffing.

You need for each person ? a squash or eggplant or a whole sweet bell pepper.
? cup raisins , sultanas or chopped dried apricots
I cup vegetable stock
2 finely chopped onions

1 Garlic clove, crushed

2 Apples, peeled, cored & diced, about 1 1/2 Cup
I stick of celery diced

1 1/2 Cups crumbs from 7-grain bread or other whole grain bread, toasted slightly in
ungreased fry pan

2 teaspoons of salt

1 - 2 teaspoon of herbs a mix of herbes de Provence is good

Grated peel of one lemon

If using squash halve and remove seeds. For peppers cut off and retain a cap and deseed. For egg plants remove stem piece and halve, making a slight hollow.
You may need to cut a small piece off the squashes and egg plants so that they will sit level in dish.

Bake the vegetables cut side down in a medium oven for 50 minutes on a lightly oiled baking tray. While this is going on heat up the stock and then use this to soak your dried fruit.

Saute the onion and celery for about 5 minutes and then add the apple pieces and the garlic for a further 3 or 4 minutes. Now place this mixture in a large bowl and combine with all the other stuffing ingredients. It should be quite moist. Use to stuff your vegetables. Return them to the oven and bake fro a further 15 minutes.

Easy Grilled Salmon Recipe

We have been fly fishing for many years. There are two main reasons that we love fly fishing. First because it is the greatest sport in the world and second because we love to cook great seafood.
This recipe for grilled salmon is very simple yet one of the best ways to prepare salmon that I know. The marinade will compliment the salmon without overpowering the great flavor of salmon.

Ingredients:
One nice piece of fresh of thawed frozen salmon,
Three ounces of olive oil,
The juice of one lemon,
One teaspoon of lemon zest,

Three of four dashes of liquid smoke,
One or two dashes of soy sauce (optional),
Salt and Pepper.

First, blend olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, liquid smoke and soy sauce (optional) in a small bowl. Baste the top side of your salmon with marinade, sprinkle with salt and pepper and place on a fairly hot well oiled grill, skin side up. Grill two to three minutes or until you have nice grill marks on your salmon. Baste the skin side and turn your salmon. Cook four to five minutes, baste the top side again and turn. Cook another two to three minutes or until done. Be sure not to overcook your salmon.

I always serve this salmon on a bed of long grain and wild rice and a few slices of lemon on the side. The rice compliments the flavor of the salmon nicely. Along with the rice you can add your favorite vegetables, French fries, or baked potato, though I find the rice and potatoes a little too starchy for my taste. I also usually serve a nice piece of crusty bread with this meal.

This salmon recipe is a recipe that I have developed myself over the years and I think if you will try it you will not only fine it simple to prepare but the best way to grill salmon you will ever come across. Fix this for some friends and then feel free to share the recipe with them.

I do hope you enjoy your grilled salmon and I will share more seafood recipes with you in the coming weeks and months.

Mashed Potato Recipe

Mashed potato is a common way of serving potato.

* In British cuisine, mashed potato can be served as a side dish, or can be used as an ingredient to make other dishes such as cottage pie, shepherd's pie, or fisherman's pie.

* Mashed potatoes (and in fact potato dishes in general) are also very widely eaten in Irish cuisine. Irish cooks like to add to the basic recipe, to make new distinctive new Irish dishes such as Champ (which is made by adding chopped spring onions and milk), or Colcannon (by adding garlic, and either cabbage or kale)

Here are the ingredients for making mashed potato:

* Potatoes

* Butter

* Salt

* Pepper

* Sour cream (optional)

Here are the steps to prepare the mashed potatoes:

1. Peel the potatoes, and cut them into small cubes.

2. Boil the cubed potatoes in a pan with water and a little salt. You need to boil the potatoes until they are cooked all the way through, which will probably take about 10 to 12 minutes if using a reasonable number of potatoes. When you think the potatoes are cooked, you can check that they are by using a fork or toothpick.

3. Remove the potatoes from the water, and mash them using a fork until you achieve a smooth texture without any lumps. During the mashing process you can mix in a little butter (say 1 tablespoon for every 5 or so medium-sized potatoes used), and if you like, about the same amount of sour cream too.

4. Add salt and pepper to your taste.

Enjoy!
